One of the first things most folks ask is how much does a website cost? Here’s the challenge with answering that question: all websites are not created equal. This makes it extremely hard to shop for the best value. It’s like comparing apples and oranges. The most important task you have is to ask lots of questions and be very clear on what you will be getting for your money.
Here’s what you will receive from me:
If you have not already secured your domain name(s) then I will do the research and advise you of the best options. I will also help you to secure both your domains name(s) and hosting account then set those up for you.
Next, each site is built on these mechanics: fast, secure, well-organized, optimized and written for an American audience. I use the WordPress platform so that you have complete access and editing capability after I build your website.
So, how much does a website cost?
Prices vary depending on the level of services you require.
For instance, a simple credibility site for a local business is $950. This includes 3-5 pages that answer: Who We Are, What We Do, How We Do It, What Makes Us Different… plus a Contact page… plus the required pages to make the site GDPR compliant… plus appropriate photos/graphics.
Need something more substantial? The website cost for a 12-15 page Website with a newsroom of 20 keyword-optimized SEO articles is typically $2000-$3500. Additional pages are usually between $50-100 per page.
The prices for extensive photo editing, a photo gallery, eCommerce, or additional writing services are quoted individually. Backup services and updating services are also available.
